Vital Signs Monitoring (VSM)
VSM is one of the innovative telehealth services that Singapore piloted in 2017 as an extended care to post-discharge chronically ill patients.
Aeras Medical is pleased to announce that our company has won the tender for the first national Vital Signs Monitoring (VSM) solution and Telehealth Services project awarded by the Integrated Health Information Systems Pte Ltd (IHiS), a subsidiary under the Ministry of Health Holdings (MOHH). Together with iHealth Labs Inc, a company from Silicon Valley, California USA, our consortium will provide an innovative solution to meet the future needs of Singapore’s healthcare.
The rapidly aging population as well as the high incidence of chronic illnesses affecting many Singaporeans means that there will be increasing demand on acute hospital resources. This project is to facilitate a large scale and coordinated community VSM pilot with all the local acute hospitals to mitigate the current and expected demand on our health system.
By using a common VSM solution, it will also set the stage to propel VSM service forward as more care models are introduced to tap on VSM.

In Essence, Our Consortium Will Develop A Customized VSM Solution For Singapore With Key Components Catering To:
- Provider and Patient Interface systems for providers and patients respectively to manage vital signs data and VSM programmes.
- Provision, management and maintenance support of monitoring devices, particularly devices that support auto-transmission of vital signs and parameters into the Provider and Patient Interface systems.
- Professional services in the area of providing clinical programme specific workflow development, resource planning and staff training to the institutions.
